The glass product control system for the sector pharmaceutical It has been designed to acquire images of glass bottles, of variable diameter, which flow on a type of prismi conveyor belt or similar, in order to detect cracks and breakages on the surface of the object in question, without the need to rotate the bottle.

Over the years our company has developed excellent experience in quality control on glass products for the pharmaceutical industry. Have been designed vision systems Custom to go against the customer's needs, and ensuring maximum reliability of the control. On many occasions it has had to resort to systems capable of controlling the entire surface of the product at 360 °, without the possibility of coming into contact with it. In this case, our technicians have designed a prototype of illuminator with which, thanks also to the combination of particular industrial chambers, the control of glass products for the pharmaceutical industry in non -rotation phase. The non -rotation of the glass product guarantees the utmost attention to preventing breakages, crashes and unexpected material on the surface, thus reducing the costs relating to waste and increasing productivity.
In other cases, this system was not necessary and the control limited itself to checking the final part of the glass product and which was cut correctly without any defect in manufacture.
Using particular illuminators you can see all the imperfections or dirt on the glass and then notify a waste to the management system. Specifically, the viewing software for the quality control of glass products for the pharmaceutical industry is able to communicate with the PLC that manages the line and trigger of the rooms, so that you can pass any information you want to, thus releasing a Quality Control Report. All this allows us to propose systems prepared for theIndustry 4.0.
The system provides for integrated and specially made lighting, which allows you to have Exposure times of about 1MS If high sensitivity is requested, otherwise lower. From the arrival of the trigger to the outcome they intercorise less than 200ms.
The vision software for the quality control On glass products for the pharmaceutical industry it is capable of ensuring more consecutive shots on the same product, so as to certify without a shadow of a doubt the right waste or the safety of having produced an excellent item.
The resolution was calibrated in order to highlight the defects on the target. The use of MP and appropriate optical rooms guarantee the detection of imperfections up to 0.3 mm.

Both from the point of view hardware than from that software, it is possible to make changes such as to make the system control of glass/vial in rotation glass/vials or vice versa. In addition to this, there is the possibility of controlling the regularity of the final part of the tube/vial, updating the software you can go to seek measures, different defects to the breaks, perpendicularity of the cut, etc.
