THE'sanitizing gel production and packaging plant, performs fillings precisely and quickly as it is managed by a PLC Siemens with architecture Web Server which controls the weighing and dosing functions by means of a feed pump and a proportional valve. Equipped with mixers and reactors for the chemical industry.


The system fully automates the use of mixers and reactors for liquids and pastes in chemical industries, making their use easier and faster.

The structure of thesanitizing gel production and packaging plant It consists of two adjacent, connected containers. The first is used for mixing the ingredients needed to make the sanitizing gel, while the second handles the filling of the various drums.
The container of mixing It is equipped with two AISI 316 stainless steel tanks integrated with a three-load cell weighing system, interfaced with the recipe management and formulation system located outside the container. The container is completed by discharge, mixing, and denaturant dosing pumps, AISI 316 stainless steel piping with flanged joints, and a control panel inside the module.
The drum packing container includes a disinfectant gel dispensing group with parallelogram arm, a tank weighing system containing the additives to be mixed with the sanitizing solution, a motorized roller conveyor with 90 mm rollers. Half of the roller conveyor is walkable, ensuring the operator can work safely during the IBC filling phase and allowing the pallet to be entered and exited from the same side. Movement is managed manually by the operator using a control panel located near the system terminal and outside the pallet path. Management of the machine's packaging records, alarm storage, and the Audit Trail procedure is handled by a PC equipped with software, a monitor, and a mouse located in a secure area.
The sanitizing solution in liquid state is mixed in the appropriate container, where two tank mixers work automatically and alternately in order to guarantee continuous availability of product at the Hand sanitizer gel filling and packaging machine, resulting in reduced waiting times, optimized residual volumes of the finished product, and increased productivity. Once the operator enters the recipe, the system begins mixing the various substances in the required quantities. Once the dosing is complete, the pumping system will recirculate the mixture in the same tank for a programmable time to ensure homogeneity. The solution is then transported to the adjacent container for drumming.
The system is equipped with two independent foam fire extinguishing systems for each container, complete with an alarm control unit Siemens wired in an Atex EXD case and positioned inside containers in hazardous areas, 40 litre foam cylinders, alcohol vapour sensors and acoustic and luminous warning devices.
The project is mainly located in the chemical/health sector and has as its object the development of a solution aimed at producing, in a mobile (containerized) unit, products such as detergents, with an approach fully consistent with the philosophy INDUSTRY 4.0.
