The structure of the drum filling and kegging machines for the chemical industry consists of a manually operated servo-assisted filling head made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and parts in contact with the product made of AISI 316 stainless steel. The system is integrated with a weighing platform, made of AISI 304 stainless steel, composed of four independent load cells and with IP67 (EX) protection. The structure is completed by a mobile column with electric control for height adjustment and a suction crown to capture any possible escape of vapours from the filling mouth.

Integrated into the drum filling and tamping system for the chemical industry is an on-board IP55 control panel equipped with PLC Siemens capable of handling the requirements of the URS and ensuring interfacing with external users. Specifically, it features: a communication port Profine and 8 input/output signals for exchanging states with the process and storage. With this mechanism, the PLC is also able to manage any pumps external to the system driven by an inverter.
