The leather parts gluing system It is equipped with special software capable of managing the dispensing of glue for fixing on parts of leather goods products to be assembled.
The leather parts pass under a vision system equipped with 2D matrix camera, and a white light backlight illuminator, chosen to highlight the edges and shape of the piece of leather. Once the image is acquired, the images are passed to the glue dispensing management software. Thanks to the vision system, the leather parts are not moved and the downtime that characterizes the manual management of this type of production process is eliminated.
The operator, using the dispenser management software, can set the glue application path, adapting it to any piece passing under the vision system. The software communicates with a management system that acquires data relating to the batch being processed and returns information on the parts processed or still to be processed, thanks to the software's predisposition. to the Industry 4.0.
Once the various recipes have been set, the vision system can identify the piece being processed at that moment and dispense the glue to the areas set by the recipe. The object can be processed in all directions when it passes under the vision system. This system can increase productivity in the gluing of leather parts for the leather goods industry and their assembly.
